Why write? What’s the purpose?


  • As I mentioned on the About Me page, I have words that need a place, and social media doesn’t have enough anonymity for my shy, perception-phobic muse. It’s also way too easy to get distracted with other people’s content, but I will sharing on here all the creators that have influenced and inspired me.

  • In 2020 I was having panic attacks, and I was able to afford online therapy for 6 months and that started me on the path of healing. I have done an overwhelming amount of research into all the things I learned in therapy and so much more, and I want to make that information public so that if anyone does random google searches (like I have), maybe my life experience could possibly help you and make you feel less alone. I am not a licensed therapist or professional, I have been trying out all the techniques I can find on online articles, YouTube and social media, and my plan is to share what I have tried, what I have done consistently, how it helped or didn’t help. I’d like to create a space on here to celebrate the small wins, because without these small wins there wouldn’t be long-term progress.
  • I am a huge reader (I read and listen to audiobooks daily) and I want a place to write about books and authors that have affected me.
